Tampak kepala

Singa memiliki rambut yang tumbuh lebat disekitar kepala, ini hanya ada pada singa jantan. Kalau singa betina tidak memiliki rambut yang tumbuh disekitar kepala. Singa betina bentuknya polos dari rambut sampai ekor.

Kalau harimau, tampak kepalanya beda sekali. Selain ada garis-garis hitam,  corak warna putih juga terlihat jelas disana..

Tempat hidup

Singa hidupnya di padang rumput, umumnya di daerah afrika, dan hidup bergerombol dengan kawanan lainnya. Yang mencari makan biasanya singa betina dengan cara menyergap musuhnya secara berkelompok. Sedangkan singa jantan, menunggu hasil buruan saja walaupun kadang ikut meneror mangsanya juga..
